Jott
Jott is a speech-to-text transcription service which allows its users to call a toll-free telephone number and speak for up to 30 seconds. The transcribed message can then be sent back to yourself, turned into a reminder, sent to a contact or group, or sent to a third party "Jott link". Sending to contacts and groups can be through email, text message, or both.
Once the phone number for Jott (1-866-JOTT-123) is programmed into your cell phone, it's really a simple service to use. Visit Jott.com to register.

There you'll find links to conferences I'm presenting at, more cool online tools, links to follow me on Twitter, find my bookmarks on Del.icio.us and most
importantly leave a comment with your opinion or idea to share with fellow educators.
If you're reading this newsletter, chances are you are one of the 2344 educators subscribed to the Center's ListServ or one of the thousands of
New Jersey educators subscribed to NJSSI.org's ListServ.
Each of our organizations uses our ListServs to distribute relevant information about upcoming workshops and
events. The Center also delivers this monthly newsletter to your inbox each month. To read my post discussing the benefits of the using blogs to disseminate information versus ListServs, visit http://thumannresources.com.
