   Helpful Hints

Snippy
Do you get frustrated when you copy something from your browser and paste it in an e-mail and you lose all the formatting? Try downloading Snippy!

Simply click on the little Snippy icon in the taskbar notification area, and mark out the region of the screen that you want to copy and that's it, you're done! The cut-out image will now be in your clipboard, and you can paste it in another application.
  Resources for Teachers

PBS Teachers
PBS has debuted a new online portal designed specifically for Prek-12 educations: PBS Teachers. According to PBS, "The breadth of content showcased on the site will be valuable to teachers of all grade levels and subject areas." The site has thousands of free lesson plans, classroom activities, as well as areas for library media specialists and technology coordinators.
  Student Site of the Month

LEGO.com
You may not have Legos in your classrooms and your students may not have them at home, but online they're free! Here your students will find more than 20 games that give them the opportunity to manipulate virtual Legos and design their own models.
