Google Calculator
Do you need to quickly convert units of measure or find the square root of a number? Try Google Calculator. Just visit www.google.com and type what you are looking for in the search box. An example might be finding the number of "hours in a month". Type this quote in the search box and then click enter. Your answer from Google will be 1 month = 730.484398 hours. Try it!!

The NEA Foundation
NEA grants for professional development experiences support public school teachers and public education support professionals. These PD opportunities must improve practice, curriculum, and student achievement. Grants are available to fund individuals in high-quality professional development experiences, such as summer institutes or action research as well as to groups for collegial study, including study groups, action research, lesson study, or mentoring experiences for faculty or staff new to an assignment.
Applications must be submitted by February 1, 2007
