Teaching With Historic Places
To celebrate Women's History Month, this site has compiled a collection of complete lesson plans that consider important aspects of women's history. These lessons are free and ready for immediate classroom use by students in history and social studies class.

Student Site of the Month

TIME for Kids
Visit TIME magazine's site designed for kids. They have a section dedicated to Women's History Month where students can travel through time to meet some of history's most influential women, take quizzes to test their knowledge, or just put together a photo album.

Grants

IEEE Pre-University Educator Award
This award recognizes current pre-college classroom teachers who have inspired an appreciation and understanding of mathematics, science and technology and the engineering process in students and have encouraged students to pursue technical careers.

Collaboration Convention - April 19, 2007 1pm-3pm
You are invited to a free Videoconferencing "Collaboration Convention" on April 19, 2007 from 1:00-3:00 PM to discuss collaborative videoconferencing projects and meet colleagues from around the state who share your interest in this exciting technology.
