Description:
With almost 60 million people writing blogs around the world, you can imagine that they cover practically any subject you can imagine. In education alone, there are blogs written by librarians, teachers, students and even school administrators. Join some fellow newbie bloggers for the day and explore the world of blogs.

Objectives:
  • Learn what makes a blog a good one for use in the classroom
  • Learn how to find good blog resources and how to track them using RSS feeds
  • Review the different mechanisms that companies use to make their blogging sites safe for schools to use and collaborate with the group to decide which might work best in your district
  • Learn how you as an educator can use blogging to continue your professional development online
