Description:
This hands-on session will explore new tools for student and teacher collaboration using Web 2.0 sites, and other tools available free to educators. We will explore Google Docs, Wikis, Blogs, RSS aggregators and other exciting tools for language arts teachers and their classrooms. Leave our workshop with a list of NEW language arts tools to use with your students and colleagues the very next day!

Objectives:
  • Receive an overview of the technology that is available, related terms and how it all fits together
  • Review language arts-related online collaboration tools and how they can be used in the classroom and at home
  • See how other schools through out the country are using these online tools and how you can collaborate with them
