Description:
Project based learning (PBL) allows students to use critical thinking skills to solve real-world problems. It integrates multiple disciplines; uses differentiated instructional strategies; fosters problem-solving, communication, and self management skills; engages and motivates bored or indifferent learners; and helps students to both “know” and “do.” Come to this workshop and learn the many benefits and strategies of implementing PBL in your classroom.

Objectives:
  • Define Project Based Learning and break it down into the different stages of planning, implementation and assessment
  • Share examples of exemplary projects
