This workshop is designed to provide participants with effective strategies in meeting the needs of special education students. Problem solving strategies, hands-on activities, tiered lessons, and technology integration will help create an environment where learning mathematics is fun, exciting and achievable.

To provide activities that interest students and motivate them to learn, remember, and apply concepts, knowledge, and skills needed to better prepare them for standardized tests.

To provide activities that will increase student motivation and participation.

To provide activities that use manipulatives and technology as part of instruction
