Description:
“Travel” around the nation without leaving Rutgers University’s Center for Mathematics, Science and Computer Education. 150 minutes of electronic field trips to museums, zoos, and other content experts to help you learn about excellent programming to enhance your teaching. Each provider will offer a sample lesson, then discuss their program offerings and activity extensions. Possible sites to include NASA, Liberty Science Center, Peace Corps, Cape May County Zoo, Camden Children's Garden, Newark Museum, Children's Museum of Indianapolis. Join us for this fast paced and informative videoconferencing showcase!

Objectives:
  • To learn about and experience interactive videoconferencing programs that support high school content and the NJ standards
  • To hear what’s happening in NJ schools with videoconferencing
  • To hear about collaborative opportunities via video
  • To learn how your school can become involved in videoconferencing
