Prerequisite: Introduction to SMART Board workshop or some prior experience using the SMART Board

Description:
This workshop will allow teachers to build on their experience with the SMART Board to create dynamic and interactive learning activities! Learn how to use all the tools of the SMART Notebook software to develop lessons with moving and stationary objects, including hidden answers. Use lesser-known features such as SMART Recorder and Video Player to enhance instruction. See how Microsoft Office programs can be used with the SMART Board. Teachers will be given hands-on time to apply new skills and will leave this workshop with a classroom-ready lesson that incorporates the SMART Board.

Objectives:
  • How to use the advanced features of SMART Notebook including grouping, layering, and locking objects
  • How to add links and sounds to objects
  • How to work with the Gallery and Attachments
  • How to use the Floating Tools
  • How to use the SMART Recorder
  • How to use the SMART Video Player
  • How to use Microsoft Office Programs with the SMART Board
