Description:
This workshop will model the kind of questioning that helps students develop and construct their solutions. This kind of questioning will be introduced through a series of hands-on instructional activities that develop teacher content and process expertese. The process of better questioning will allow for a deeper understanding of childrens' mathematical thinking, and strategies for improving instruction and assessment.

Objectives:

Introducing questions that will encourage students to develop their own thinking and build their own mathematics.

Using activities that include ways of questioning that affect change change in student performance.

Sharing student responses in the classroom so that others can benefit from understanding their explanations.
