Description:
Transform your students’ notebooks into portfolios of individual learning. Interactive student notebooks (ISN) encourage students to use critical thinking skills to organize and process content. Teachers will examine examples and explore strategies for students to process, question, and wrestle with new ideas. This notebook strategy can be used for a single lesson, unit, or for an entire curriculum. ISN’s use students’ visual and linguistic intelligences and provide an embedded assessment tool. Please Note: ISNs are not technology based notebooks; ISNs are created in standard composition or spiral bound notebooks.
