Description:
This session will allow teachers to share ideas and create SMART Notebook interactive lessons! Participants will use strategies such as drag and drop, revealing objects using ordering, linking objects to other pages and/or files and much more! Each technique will be demonstrated with curriculum-based examples, and hands-on time will be given to develop and save customized activities to take back to the classroom. Participants may want to bring a USB Flash drive to save files to.

Objectives:
  • How to use advanced features of SMART Notebook including grouping, ordering and cloning objects
  • How to use page and object drop-down menu commands such as linking, sounds, etc.
  • How-to tips and techniques for creating lessons that maximize the SMART Board functionality
  • How to create "pull tabs" and use other Gallery items to "build" interactivity onto the page
