Description:
This workshop will begin with an examination of the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards for Language Arts Literacy and discussion of where students with special needs tend to fall behind. Teachers will share best practices and identify common modifications given to students. Together attendees will explore a variety of technology and non-technology resources to support teaching literacy to students with special needs.

Objectives:

Review of the NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards

To discuss common modifications for students and share best practices

To review a variety of resources to engage students with special needs
