Discover how the SMART Board can support a wide variety of teaching and learning experiences. Participants will learn the features and tools of the SMART Board and the accompanying software that can assist with different learning needs. Come and learn how this technology can help teachers design differentiated activities and interactive lessons that support students in a variety of ways! During this hands-on session, participants will have the opportunity to explore the functions of the technology.

Objectives:
  • How to use features of SMART Board software including handwriting, shape, and language recognition, capturing areas of the screen and much more
  • How to add sounds to SMART Notebook objects
  • How to work with the Gallery to insert clip art and interactive objects to SMART Notebook pages
  • How to use the Spotlight, Magnifier, and Screen Shade tools
  • How to use the SMART Recorder to save what is said and done on the SMART Board
  • How to use the SMART Video Player
