Come and see how the SMART Board interactive whiteboard can be used effectively in the classroom. Learn how to operate the board and use it with a variety of applications and web sites. Teachers will become familiar with the SMART Notebook software that is used to create interactive lessons and activities.

- How to set up, orient, and operate the SMART Board
- How to use your finger as the mouse
- How to use the electronic ink to write on the board
- How to capture and save information, annotations, and images
- How to create simple activities using the SMART Notebook software
- Hands-on time to create curriculum-based lesson activities
- How to work with features in SMART Notebook such as linking, grouping, layering, and locking objects
- How to work with the Gallery and Attachments
- How to use the Floating Tools, SMART Recorder and SMART Video Player
- How to use Microsoft Office Programs with additional SMART Board features
- Hands-on time to create curriculum-based lesson activities
