Web 2.0 applications are entirely web-based. Come and take a tour through these useful (and fun) FREE online tools that will help you educate your students and often organize yourself. Explore the social components of Web 2.0 that allow students and educators to collaborate online and take a sense of ownership of their work. Leave this workshop with a list of NEW websites to explore during the remaining month of summer.

Objectives:
  • Receive an overview of Web 2.0 and how it is changing technology in schools
  • Review content-related Web 2.0 applications and how they can be used in the classroom and at home
  • Learn ways to search for new Web 2.0 applications as they are released
