Teacher Professional Development Opportunities
In-district & @ The Center
CMSCE, at Rutgers University, provides professional development for K-12 educators to enhance science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) teaching and learning in the classroom. Content and pedagogy experts offer research-based workshops, mentoring and coaching in STEM related disciplines. Programs are customized to meet your district's needs. CMSCE partners with school districts around the state on grants and other initiatives including curriculum development. Below are core topics for 2014-2015.

NGSS were adopted by NJ on July 9, 2014. We are here to support you in your planning and implementation with in-district PD and mentoring as well as some upcoming workshops this fall @ The Center.

Maker Education & School Maker Spaces
The best way to engage your classroom and deepen content knowledge is for students to make something. When students have the opportunity to tinker, they build a skill set and a sense of self-efficacy that will serve well in school and beyond! This is why the Maker Movement has sparked a creative learning revolution and Maker Spaces are popping up in more and more schools and communities today! We are here help you set up a maker space or simply bring a maker mindset to your school.

If you cancel within five (5) business days, or if neither you nor a substitute attends without notifying us, no refund will be issued. All institutes are subject to cancellation for insufficient enrollment.
