Lynda Ginsburg is the Senior Research Associate for Mathematics Education at the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Computer Education at Rutgers University. She has taught mathematics for many years to high school, adult basic education (ABE/HSE), and community college students, taught graduate courses in mathematics education, and conducted research with parents who are simultaneously learning math for themselves and helping their own school-aged children.  She designs and delivers professional development on teaching math for adult, K-12, and community college educators at the state, regional and national level. She has written extensively about adult numeracy and is a founding member and past president of the Adult Numeracy Network. Lynda holds a Ph.D. in mathematics education from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee
