Summer Maker Camps 2018

Camp participants will experience design thinking and develop their maker mindset through experiencing different types of maker projects over the course of the week. The theme this year is STEAM (STEM + Art). Critical making, materials, and the power of story will be explored. Projects will involve the use of makerspace tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl cutter, CNC machines, basic electronics, and hand tools.

Elementary camp participants, will experience a new STEAM maker project each day exposing them to different tools and technology used in fabrication. Middle school and high school camp participants will choose a project pathway that will incorporate the digital fabrication process to develop a prototype.
