Dr. Haim Baruh, is a professor at the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Rutgers University. He is an engineering researcher and educator for over 30 years. Has taught over 15 different aerospace and mechanical engineering courses. Research in structural dynamics, control systems, and impact mechanics. Over 40 archival journal publications and two textbooks (Analytical Dynamics, Applied Dynamics).
Director of NASA-funded center to promote STEM education in New Jersey. Experience and success in fellowship management, building interdisciplinary teams, outreach to and recruitment of underrepresented minorities, promoting STEM education.
Over 10 year experience in educational administration as graduate program director and also as associate dean in graduate education. Experience and success in recruitment, admissions and retention.
Has been involved in educational and engineering consulting. Public speaker on preparing for college and for being successful in college.
