CCLC Lending Library

Offered by the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Computer Education (CMSCE) at Rutgers University, the Climate Change Learning Collaborative (CCLC) Lending Library provides a curated collection of hands-on resources designed to support climate change curriculum for both elementary and secondary classrooms.

All participants of our CCLC workshops are able to check out the resources for loan. While we are currently unable to ship items, you may designate someone else to pick up materials on your behalf.

How It Works
  1. Browse & Request
    Select the resource(s) that best fit your instructional goals, and complete the Lending Library Request Form .
  2. Confirmation
    You will receive a confirmation email at the address provided. Please allow a few business days for approval.
  3. Pick-Up
    Once approved, our team will reach out to coordinate a time to pick up the requested materials at:
    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    at the Rutgers Lifelong Learning Center,
    3 Rutgers Plaza, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
  4. Use in Your Classroom
    Use the resources to engage students and enhance your classroom experience.
  5. Loan Period
    Resources are loaned for two-week periods. Extensions may be granted depending on availability.
  6. Return & Responsibility
    Please return all items in the same condition as they were loaned. Schools or educators may be responsible for the full replacement cost of any lost or damaged materials.
  7. Provide Feedback
    After returning the materials, you’ll receive a short survey. Your feedback helps us tailor future offerings to better support your classroom needs.

Discover advanced aspects of wind turbine technology. Test different blade designs, gear ratios, generators, and devices to measure electrical and weightlifting power. The classroom pack includes materials for eight groups of 2 to 4 students each. Each group independently assembles hubs and blade sets.
